摘要
隐喻是建构和解读诗歌语篇的有效策略,在诗歌中具有思维、认知和连贯功能。隐喻体现了诗人的情感体验和思维过程,是诗歌丰富意蕴的表现手段。本文以英文诗歌为实例,以Lakoff的隐喻理论为基础,分析了隐喻在诗篇中对于剖析诗人的思维活动、帮助读者建立对诗篇的认知以及构建诗篇连贯的重要作用。
Metaphor serves as an effective strategy and holds the functions of thinking, cognition and coherence. It reflects the poet＇ s emotion experience and thinking course, and it is a means of expression which can reach the meaning of poetry. This thesis analyses the important functions of metaphor in the course of interpreting the poet＇ s thinking, assisting the readers＇ cognition building and constructing the poetry discourse coherence.
