李贺以其秾丽幽峭的诗风在百家争艳的唐代诗坛独树一帜,在他现存的200多首诗歌中出现了大量以女性为题材的诗歌。这些女性形象有仙气飘飘的神女,有阴森温婉的冥女,有对爱情怀有无限憧憬的凡女。同时,女性形象的出现又有着深厚的意义,既得到了作者情感上的共鸣,又有以女子的形象表现自己内心求而不得的情感需要,更有借助诗歌所营造的女性世界,抒发自己的内心之苦,身世之悲,世事之变幻无常。

Because of the luxuriant style of poems, Li He occupied a unique position among the outstanding poets in Tang Dynasty. Meanwhile, female images make a considerable presence in his more than 200 poems,including goddess with holy scent, ghost girls of tenderness, and mortal ladies longing for love. All these images are infused with profound meanings, from the sympathy of the author in emotion, to the representation of emotional needs unquenched in the author. In addition, Li He needs the female world created in poems to express the agony, sufferings and uncertainties in life.
