As a person lived in the late Ming Dynasty during which the Zen Buddhism was flourishing , Dong Qichang integrated the Zen Buddhism into his theory and art practice to present his own artistic characteristics and spirit .The style of Dong Qichang ’ s calligraphy is related to the Zen Buddhism ,which has a great impact on the theory of calligraphy and the artistic practice of calli -graphy.
