根据英汉语"头"的语料,探讨体验认知视角下英汉语"头"概念的隐喻投射,可揭示英汉语"头"概念隐喻投射的共性与个性,以及"头"概念在英汉语中构筑的隐喻概念的作用与语义扩展的机制。

On the basis of corpus data, this paper compares and analyzes the metaphorical scope of the concept of ＂head＂ in English and Chinese from the perspective of the experiential cognition. It also reveals the metaphorical mappings of ＂head＂ in English and Chinese are characterized by its similarities and differences and the metaphorical mappings and semantic extensions of＂head ＂.
