张謇的经济主张有 :实业是抵御外敌、富民强国之本 ;要发展实业只有采用官助绅领商办的形式 ,才能避免官商不通之隔 ,又避免官方直接插手企业带来的弊端。让商民自由经营 ,无业不兴 ;实业与教育相辅相成 ,以实业辅导教育 。

Zhang Jians economic propositions are manifold.Large scale industries are the basis for resisting foreign enemies enriching people and strengthening the nation;The only way to develop industries is to adopt the official aided,squire guided and merchant conducted way,which can avoid the lack of communication between officials and merchants and the official interference;industries are sure to develop themseleves if merchant are free to manage their business;industries and education should complement each other,I.e. to aid education with industries,and to improve industries with education.
