我国高等教育的需求和供给分析

An Analysis of Needs and Supplies of Chinas Higher Education

1999年政府作出高校扩招的决策 ,不只是以“教育拉动经济”需要的一种政策手段 ,而且有更深的原因。本文从高等教育需求的分析入手 ,指出我国目前以及今后城乡居民对高等教育的需求是非常旺盛的 ,这是高校扩招的现实的微观基础。文章还从增加高等教育供给对经济增长的作用。

In 1999,our government decreed that institutions of higher learning extend enrolment.This is not merely a policy to invigorate the national economy.The paper points out that demands for higher education are great on the par of both urban and rural citizens;and it also discusses the enrolment extension by discussing the function that the supplies to higher education plays on economic growth,the main factors which affect higher education,and those aspects which should be noted in the increase of supplies of higher education.
