提高专业素质是中学教师继续教育的重要任务。面向新世纪的中学教师专业素质应具有科学的现代教育理念 ,要以基础教育的超前性、发展性和社会性为基础形成新的教育观、学生观和教育活动观。在知识结构上要具有多层次的复合结构 ,要有扎实的专业基础 ,有一定的现代科学知识及人文素养 ,有教育学科的专门知识 。

It is an important task for middle school teachers to improve specialized quality in their further education.They should cultivate a scientific and modern educational concept,form new ideas of education,students and educational activities with the prophetic developmental and social quality of elementary education as the basis.Meanwhile,they should have a multi faceted knowledge structure,a solid foundation,some knowledge of modern technology,humanity qualities,special knowledge in the discipline of education.In addition,they should cultivate their adaptability in the changing society.
