The mid-Qing Dynasty novel Lantern on the Forked Road by Li Luyuan is a work that touches upon education. The novel depicts and illustrates the philosophy of school education which includes the teachers' talents and morality .and the idea of honouring teachers and esteeming their teaching. The author's ideas on education can still be taken as reference for the education today.
