On the Use of Adjectives in Dialect of Wuxiang County in Shanxi

武乡方言的形容词有重叠式和附加式两种表达方式,即形容词重叠式和形容词附加式。不论是哪种表达方式,武乡方言都有自己明显的特点,体现了武乡方言中的形容词在晋语方言中的特色。

There are two expressions for the adjectives in dialect of Wuxiang County, reduplication and adjuncts. Both reduplicative adjective words and adjuncts can be employed to express degrees. The two kinds of expressions also have their own features of dialect of Wuxiang, which belong to the features of dialects of Shanxi.
