A Review of the Studies of Zhang Wei's Novels

作为当代重要的"三农"题材作家之一,张炜的小说呈现了现代性冲击之下乡土中国的发展与裂变,也引起了众多研究者的重视和关注,并在社会学批评、心理分析批评以及形式批评等方面取得了较好的成绩。在此基础上,要进一步实现张炜小说研究的新发展,深入张炜的文本世界及其精神内核,就必须立足于新时期现代化、市场化、工业化乃至全球化的中国语境特别是中国乡村发生的结构性变化。同时,以自然权利诉求和现代性断裂为研究视角,准确理解和阐释张炜重要的文学实践,探究张炜小说丰富多元的文本内蕴。

The works of Zhang Wei, one of the important ＂agriculture and farmer＂ theme writers, presents social development and divisions of rural China in the surge of modernity. They have invited attentions of many researchers who made achievements in social criticism, psycho-analysis criticism and formal criticism. Given this basis, further studies which probe into the textual world and spiritual cores of Zhang Wei＇s novels would be those based on the new context in Chinese modernization, marketization, industrialization and globalization, especially the structural alternation in rural China. At mean time, natural right appeal and modernity fracture are perspectives for more accurate understanding and interpreting of Zhang Wei＇s key literary practices and exploration of the rich and diverse textual connotations of his novels.
