英语学习词典中百科信息设置原则研究——基于词典使用者角度

Study on the Setting Principles of Encyclopedia Information in English Learner's Dictionary

百科信息是词典中不可缺少的信息,主要指对客观现实的描述。针对母语和外语设计的学习词典其收录百科信息的原则是不同的。通过比较OALD7和LDELC两本词典中的百科信息的设置,发现针对母语和非母语设计的学习词典其收录百科信息的原则不同,最后从词典使用者的角度,提出学习词典收录百科信息在宏观结构和微观结构两方面的建议。

Encyclopedia information is indispensable in a dictionary,mainly referring to the description of objective reality.There are some differences in setting principles between the domestic oriented English learner’s dictionaries and the foreign oriented ones.In this paper,the author compares the setting principles of encyclopedic information between two dictionaries,OALD7 and LDELC,and finds out differences between them in the setting principles.Finally,from the dictionary users’perspective,this paper puts forward several setting principles of encyclopedic information.
