《汉书·艺文志》“辑而论篹”句释说——“论语”二字诂

《汉书·艺文志》是最早对作为书名的"论语"二字进行明确解说的书,所以不论多少人对此二字进行解释,还是需要先懂得《艺文志》的释义。不过《艺文志》释义的关键处只在"辑而论篹"一句,根据分析,这一句以及"论语"二字都与"论"字为同义语。"辑而论篹"即"论"即"论语",三者等同。而书名"论语"二字的意思即是:将众多尤其是夫子之言语有条理地写于简册上,成册成编;或者是将已录有夫子言语的诸多之"简"(单简)、"册"(成编之简)收集起来,有所取舍、分类(若诸人间则还会有所商议、讨论)等等,而后依次第、条理篹录其语于新的册上,再次成编成册。

Han Shu·Yiwenzhi is the earliest clear explanation book on the two characters The Analects of Confucius as a book ti-tle ,so no matter how many people explain the two words ,one needs to understand the interpretation of“Yiwenzhi” ,but whose in-terpretation lies mainly in the sentence“Ji er Lun Zuan”mainly in .According to the analysis ,this sentence and the Analects of Con-fucius are synonyms of “Lun”.“Ji er lun zuan”is“Lun”or the Analects of Confucius .However ,the two characters the Analects of Confucius as the book title indicate that many words ,especially the Confucius’s words ,are written down on bamboo slips into a plait ,or all the bamboo slips with Confucious’s speech are combined into new books after fitters and classification according to the order .
