Expressiveness and Great Achievements——On the Origins and Characteristics of Fan Kai's Poems

范铠是闻名遐迩的"南通范氏诗文世家"的代表诗人。据《清诗史》记载,范铠与长兄范当世、次兄范钟合称"通州三范",诗文唱和,诗名远播。令人遗憾的是,学术界至今未见范铠诗歌创作的专门研究。研读范铠诗歌文本,从范铠诗歌秉承家学、转益多师、唱和先贤、托古喻今等方面,可以看出范铠是一个拥有诗歌实绩、个人风格、不负家学、不可忽略的近代诗人,他与南通范氏、桐城姚氏及桐城派、"同光体"都有渊源。

Fan Kai is one of the representatives of famous Fan literary family of Nantong. According to History of Poems in the Qing Dynasty, he and his elder brothers, Fan Dangshi and Fan Zhong are known as three Fan of Tongzhou, famous for their poems and writing. However, it is a pity that there has not been any particular research on his poetry creation in the academic field. On the basis of investigating his poems, it can be found that he is a modern indispensable poet with great achievements in poems expressing his particularity. At the same time, it can also be found that his poems have strong relation with other poem schools such as Yao family of Tongcheng, Tongcheng School, and poem style popular during the period of Emperor Tongzhi and Emperor Guangxu.
