Collectivism is the core value in Chinese cultures ,while Christian sprit ,individualism and liberalism are the core values in American cultures .The differences definitely influence the concepts of the Chinese dream and the American dream in many perspectives , and result in the different choices of the way to the realization of the＂dreams＂.The subordination of individual interests to the public interests and their unity are laid on emphasis in the realization of the Chinese dream while the individual interests are over the public interests in the realization of the American dream .Peaceful development and win-win result are prominent in the Chinese dream , while competition and the jungle law are adopted in the American dream .The analysis of the differences between the Chinese dream and the American dream from the perspective of values is beneficial for borrowing the positive elements of self-struggle , confidence , and competition in the realization of the American dream and stimulate the realization of the Chinese dream .
