摘要
以南京体育学院运动训练专业单招录取的203名省级和国家级专业运动员为研究对象,对运动员英语学习动机类型和努力程度进行相关分析。研究结果表明:(1)专业运动员的工具型动机占主导地位,尤其是信息媒介和个人发展动机;而成绩动机和内在兴趣动机对运动员英语学习的影响最弱;(2)成绩动机与努力程度之间无明显相关关系,对英语学习的投入没有积极的影响作用;(3)内在兴趣、学习情境、出国、社会责任、个人发展和信息媒介的动机强度均与努力程度呈明显正相关,其中仅内在兴趣动机达到中度相关关系。
This research aims to investigate the English-learning motivation types of professional athletes and the relationship with learning efforts. The subjects are 203 professional athletes from provincial and national sports teams enrolled by Nanjing Sport Institute. The research finds:( 1 ) instrumental motivation occupies the leading place, especially the motivation of information medium and individual development,while immediate achievement and intrinsic interest show inactive influence upon their English learning;( 2 ) no apparent correlation exists be-tween the motivation of immediate achievement and learn- ing efforts;( 3 ) the intensities of all the motivation types have positive correlation with learning efforts at the greatly significant level except the immediate achievement,intrin-sic interest motivation reaches moderate correlation.
