A Research on Political Schema Changes in Giao Chi

地缘、文化传播和民族迁徙流动等因素在古代综合促成了交趾政治发展史上的五种政治图式：一是自主时期，实际上是独立自主的国家，时间约为公元前214年之前；二是建立有国家．但由南越国赵王加封为藩．它们之间的关系是羁縻关系．不是直辖地区．处于半自主半独立状态。时间约为公元前214年～公元前111年。三是“北属时期”，直接为中国郡县，时间约为公元前111年～公元968年；四是中国政令未达．当地统一未成，短暂零散的纷争局面．时间约为公元968～1802年。五是进入自主时期．时间约为1802年之后直至近现代。交趾政治史上这种格局影响了近代乃至现代该大区域的总体形势。

Factors like the geographical location, the cultural communication, and the ethnic migration together contributed to form the five political schemas in the history of Giao Chi： 1. independence period. Before 214 B. C. , Giao Chi was an independence country at the time. 2. semi-independence period. During 214 B. C.-111 B. C. , the state of Giao Chi was rather a vassal state which was attached to the Nam Viet Kingdom and ruled by Emperor Zhao than a completely autonomous country. 3. North-annexed period. During 111 B. C.-968 A. D., it was one of the prefectures of China. 4. period of staying shattered. During 968 A. D. -1802 A. D. , the unification of the territory remained unachieved, with the failure of Chinese central government orders issuing. 5. independence period. This period is from 1802 A.D. till modern and contemporary times. The general layout of the macro region in modern and contemporary times is greatly influenced hy the political schema in the history of Giao Chi.
