美国当代汉学家、翻译家葛浩文翻译了众多的中国现当代作家的文学作品,在西方世界受到广泛关注,并获得许多国际大奖,对中国文学的对外传播起到了非常好的宣传效果。分析葛浩文的翻译诗学,可以看出他的诗学观除了受到个人诗学影响外,还受到主流诗学地位、诗学态度、经典诗学以及社会意识形态的影响,而这些影响主要体现在其选材、翻译方法与翻译作品的宣传等方面,而这一切都体现了他是一个成功的中国文学的翻译者。

Ge Haowen, a contemporary American translator , who has translated many modern and contemporary Chinese Literary works , plays a very important role in promoting and introducing Chinese literature because his translated works have gained widespread attention and many international awards in western countries.Analyzing his translation poetics , we can find that except his personal poetics , it is influenced by the poetic status , poetic attitude , dominant poetics and the social ideology , and that all these influences are embodied in his selection of translated works , translation method and the propaganda of his translated works.All of these can show he is a very successful translator of Chinese literature in the world.
