With its own unique advantages , News plays a more and more important role in promoting cultural ex-changes and enhancing mutual understanding.As“the soul of news”, the headlines contain the main content of a piece of news and transmit the information with succinct and clear words.For its unique role and features , a large number of scholars from various circles have shown great interest in the studies of news reports and relevant news discourses from different perspectives for a long time.Under the theoretical framework of New Mark ’ s semantic translation and communicative translation , this study attempts to explore the translation news titles , aiming to make some complements for the previous news discourse studies as well as provider some implications for later studies .
