在脱离了母语写作的法国华人作家中,程抱一与戴思杰在小说中重现了属于他们的"知青记忆"。以"文革"为背景,独特的"跨文化身份"使他们采用更为客观成熟的历史意识审视这段特殊时期,并挖掘特定年代知识青年的"人性光芒",表现了海外华人作家在中西方文化间的灵性求索。

Francois Cheng and Dai Si-jie, the Chinese French writers, represent the memory of the educated youth of the Cultural Revolution in their French novels. Their cross-cultural identity contributes to the objective and historical re-examination of that period, so the humanity of the educated youth as well as the writers＇ spiritual exploration of the Chinese and western cultures is revealed.
