A Comparative Analysis of Differences Between English and Chinese

英语和汉语分属两个不同的语系,其差异性是十分明显的。这种差异性是翻译工作中经常遇到的一个难题,也是外语学习常遇到的问题。重点从英汉语言的多个方面分析、比较两种语言的不同之处,认为语言差异的实质问题是文化的差异,文化差异来源于社会生活的各个方面。

Chinese and English belong to different language families and hence they are completely different, which poses a big problem in learning and translation. This paper analyses the differences from muhipie aspects and points out that linguistic differences are actually cultural differences which are caused by social life.
