摘要
本项研究主要通过几项对比数据,对比了中国大学生的英语口语状况与欧洲非英语国家学生的口语,探讨目前中国大学生口语水平,分析了中国学生英语口语表达能力薄弱的原因,对欧洲国家的英语教学方法进行了介绍,并提出提高中国学生英语能力的措施和建议。参加口试的受试者来自丹麦的3所大学30名学生,瑞典大学13名学生,挪威大学的5名学生,芬兰一所大学的2名学生,中国华北、西北、华南、华东等大学的55名学生。其中从语言能力和策略能力进行了对比分析,主要侧重研究对比语言的流利程度、表达的正确度、非语言交际能等,通过研究发现,中国学生语法掌握较好,词汇量较大,但语言流畅程度偏低;而欧洲非英语国家学生语法准确程度一般,英语词汇比较贫乏,但语言流利程度很高,交际手段、非语言交际能力丰富等。最后提出了相应的解决办法。
The comparison of oral English between Chinese students and European non-English-speak-ing countries is made in this paper. The purpose is to study the oral English ability of Chinese studentsand analyze the reason of poor English ability. The English teaching methods of European countries areintroduced and some suggestions to improve Chinese students' oral English ability are made. The sub-ject are 30 students from three universities of Denmark, 13 from Swedish universities ,5 from Norwegianuniversities ,3 from Finland universities, and 55 students from universities of north China, northwestChina, south China, and east China. Comparative study is made about language competence and strate-gic ability. The study is mainly about fluency, correctness, nonverbal communicative ability etc. The re-suh shows that Chinese students have a good commandbility of fluency, while European non-English speakingvocabulary with high level of fluency and strong abilitytion. Countermeasures are proposed, which can provide of English grammar and vocabulary with low a-students have poor command of grammar andfor communication and nonverbal communica-some suggestions fororal English teaching in China.
