齐国“渠展之盐”考

Study on Quzhan Salt in Qi State

"渠展之盐"是春秋时期齐国著名的盐业生产基地。从对《管子》文献资料的解读、现代盐业考古和当时齐国盐业生产环境看,"渠展在利津说"不能成立,"渠展泛指渤海湾沿岸卤水分布区说"亦显笼统,而以潍、弥、淄水下游平原地区为中心的莱州湾南岸符合"渠展之盐"的生产场景,且有大量盐业考古资料可资证实,故渠展当指莱州湾南岸盐业生产区。

Quzhan was a famous salt production base of Qi State in the Spring and Autumn Period. Based on the interpretation of literature data from Guanzi, and the analysis of modem salt archaeological finds and then salt production environment in Qi State, the view of Quzhan located in Lijin County cannot be justified, and the idea of Quzhan referring to the brine distribution areas along the coast of Bohai Bay is also very vague. However, the south coast of Laizhou Bay with the center of plain area in the lower reaches of Wei River, Mi River and Zi River, accords with the salt production environment of Quzhan. Moreover, the location is proved by a large amount of salt archaeological evidence. Therefore, Quzhan would be on the south coast of Laizhou Bay.
