Subversion and Reconstruction——The Black Woman Image in Song of Solomon

本文从黑人女性主义的视角出发,探索《所罗门之歌》中莫里森如何对传统黑人妇女的模式化形象进行颠覆。主流文学主要构建了四种常见的黑人女性形象:女保姆、女家长、福利母亲和无耻的荡妇。主流文学对黑人形象的歪曲,目的是为了维持黑人女性的从属地位。在彼拉特、瑟斯身上,莫里森颠覆了白人文化中"专制的女家长""顺从的黑人女仆"形象,重塑与还原了黑人女性的正面形象。

This paper embarks from the black feminist perspective, to explore how does Morrison subvert the traditional model image of black women in Song of Solomon. The mainstream literature construction four common kinds of black women images： female nurse, female matriarch, welfare mother and shameless hussy. The purpose of mainstream literature distorted image of blacks is to maintain the black womeng subordinate status. Morrison overturns the image of ＂authoritarian female parents＂, ＂obedient black maid＂ in white culture, remolds and restores the black women＇s positive image.
