Wang Guangqi's Music Thoughts and its Inspirations on the Construction of Yunnan Ethnic Music Culture

王光祈先生是我国现代音乐学事业的开拓者和奠基人。他通过自己的不懈努力撰写和译介了大量经典音乐学著述,在音乐学研究领域对西洋音乐研究、中国音乐研究以及比较音乐学研究均做出了重要贡献。在今天看来,他的音乐学思想尤其是比较音乐学思想,虽然诞生已近百年,但对云南民族音乐文化建设仍然有着积极启示。具体体现在对云南民族音乐文化发展的定位,对云南民族音乐文化建设科学化、系统化的提升以及具体应用等方面。在云南民族音乐文化建设的过程中,应该确立科学的建设理念,重视田野考察、充分挖掘云南丰富的民族音乐文化资源,实施产业化保护策略,为最终实现云南优秀民族音乐文化的有效传承做出积极努力和应有贡献。

Mr. Wang Guangqi was the pioneer and founder of China＇s modern music cause. Through his unremitting efforts he wrote and translated many classical music works, and made important contributions to musicological research in Western music, Chinese music and comparative music. Though born nearly a hundred years ago, his music thoughts especially his thoughts of comparative musicology still has positive inspirations to the national music culture construction of Yunnan in the positioning of Yunnan ethnic music culture development, the scientific and systematic promotion of the musical culture construction and the application. Therefore, in the process of Yunnan national music culture construction, we should establish scientific concept of constrnction, pay attention to field investigation, fully tap the rich ethnic music cultural resources, and implement corresponding industrial protection strategy, so as to make positive efforts and contributions to the inheritance of Yunnan ethnic music culture.
