On Sustainable Transportation Development-Based on World Bank Report

当前，包括发展中国家在内的世界各国都面临着如何保护地球资源和环境，持续发展城市交通的问题。本文根据世界银行的调查报告，从经济和金融、环境以及社会性持续发展的角度，分析了一些国家的现状，指出了存在的问题和解决的思路，最后强调了在交通政策的制定方面政府所能发挥的作用，认为应该积极获得世界银行的援助和支持。

It is a critical problem facing all the countries in the world that the development of urban transportation shall go with environmental preservation and effect use of natural resources. In this article, the author analyses the present situation and the existing problems in different countries from the angles of economy & finance, environment & society, and holds that a government shall play its assumed role and work hard to get the support from World Bank in urban transportation policy - making and traffic problem solutions.
