浅论中西文化差异对汉英语言形式及语词含义的影响

中西文化各有其悠久的历史,由于受思维方式及文化背景差异的影响,汉英两种语言在形式上及语词含义上有很大差别。因此,了解中西文化差异是准确理解两种语言的重要手段。本文拟在通过对中西文化差异的浅显分析,指出其对汉英两种语言在形式上及语词含义上的影响。

Chinese and western culture all have long history. There are many differences between them on their language forms and words meanings, under the influence of way of thinking and cultural background. Therefore, understanding the differences between Chinese culture and English culture is an important way. This article tries to indicate that how these differences affect language forms and words meanings.
