构建以市场需求为导向的理工高校外语人才培养模式——以河南理工大学外国语学院为例

The Construction of a Market-oriented Mode for Foreign Language Talents Education in Universities of Science and Technology

外语专业毕业生就业整体下滑,理工科高校外语人才前景更是危机四伏。这既有外语毕业生基数不断膨胀的原因,也有外语人才培养模式的问题。培养模式老化、市场意识缺乏、生源基础薄弱等已成为河南省理工高校外语人才培养的隐患,构建以市场需求为导向的理工高校外语人才培养模式已成为当务之急。

The job-hunting of foreign language major students is becoming rather difficult, and the prospect of those students in universities of science and technology lies even in more danger and crisis. Such a situation is due to a continuously rising figure of such graduating students as well as a poor mode for those students＇ education. An out-dated education mode, a lack of market consciousness and a group of poor level students have already become serious issues for foreign language students＇ education in universities of science and technology in Henan province. Therefore, it is an urgent task to construct a market-oriented mode for the education of such students in universities of science and technology for the present time.
