Taking the course of An Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and the Theoretical System of Socialism of Chinese Characteristics as an example, from analyzing the core concept of discovery teaching method, the problem on which discovery teaching method is how to be used effectively in the ideological and political theory course teaching of colleges and universities is emphatically discussed, in order to improve the teaching effect of ideological and political theory course.
