英语四/六级考试调整背景下的教学改革——以地方本科院校英语教学改革为例

College English Reform under Background of CET 4/6 Level Test Adjustment——Example of Local College English Reform

全国大学英语四/六级考试委员会发布《关于大学英语四/六级考试题型调整的说明》,引起我国高等院校英语教学出现重大改革。此次调整具有注重基本功训练、接轨国际考试和倡导跨文化交流等新特点,目前地方本科院校英语教学中普遍存在的学生英语基础较弱、自主学习能力偏低、教学资源配置不足和英语教学模式单一等突出问题,改革思路和对策有完善课程体系建设、创造自主学习良好氛围、多渠道改进教学实施和打造优质师资队伍等。

CET Committee issued Instructions on the Adjustment of CET Band 4/6, which would indicate great reform in Col- lege English education. Adjustment were firstly analyzed in comparison with before, and it mainly focuses on emphasizing the bas- ic skills training, linking with the international examination and advocating the intercultural exchange. Now, students＇ weak foun- dation in English, low ability of the autonomous learning, insufficient in teaching sources and single mode et. al are widely existed in the English teaching of local colleges. Finally, some reform methods were developed, such as completing the curriculum sys- tem, creating a good autonomous learning atmosphere, improving teaching from multi - channel and training a high-quality teach- ers.
