蛋白质精氨酸甲基化转移酶的研究进展

摘要 在哺乳动物中,目前发现的组蛋白精氨酸甲基化位点包括H3-Arg2、H3-Arg8、H3-Arg17、H3-Arg26和H4-Arg3。精氨酸甲基化由组蛋白精氨酸甲基化转移酶(PRMTs)催化完成;与赖氨酸甲基化类似,精氨酸甲基化也可激活或抑制染色质的相关功能。精氨酸甲基化存在单甲基化、对称双甲基化和非对称双甲基化三种状态。现结合文献对PRMTs的研究进展综述如下。
