摘要
批判性思维能力是二语学习者的五项基本技能之一,也是语言学习者应该掌握的比较重要的思维能力。大学英语教学经历了数次改革之后获得了长足发展,但是诸多改革对学生批判性思维能力的关注不尽如人意。本文以武汉大学研究生英语课堂为例,简要概述了国内外关于批判性思维能力研究的阶段性成果,借鉴思维能力层级理论,构建了大学英语教学批判性思维能力的培养模式,该模式包括营造课堂气氛、提高自主学习能力、改革评价方式等。通过该模式的构建,笔者希望英语教学真正培养出语言技能和思维能力均优秀的外语学习者。
Critical thinking ability is one of the five basic skills of second language learners, as well as a relatively important think-ing skill language learners should master. Having undergone sev-eral reforms, college English teaching has gained rapid develop-ment, but the concern on students' critical thinking ability is un-satisfactory. Exemplified by the postgraduate English class of Wuhan University, this paper made a brief overview of the initial results of domestic and foreign research on critical thinking abili-ty, and referring to hierarchy of critical thinking ability, built a training model for critical thinking ability in college English teaching, which includes creating a classroom atmosphere, en-hancing self-learning ability, and reforming evaluation methods. By building the model, the writer hopes that English teaching can feasibly cultivate foreign language learners with both excellent language skills and thinking skills.
