On the Promotion of Students' Practice and Innovation in Junior Geography Teaching

21世纪是一个快速发展的时代,是一个立足于知识经济的时代。时代的发展要求我们大力实施素质教育,培养具有创新精神、实践能力的人才。新地理课程标准也提出要关注学生实践与创新能力的发展。本文以初中地理学科为立脚点,从转变教学理念、改变教学方式和加强实践教学的角度出发,意欲通过好的教学变革促进学生实践与创新能力的发展。

The 21st century is a rapidly developing era based on knowledge economy. The development of the times requires us to vigorously implement quality-oriented education and cultivate talents with innovative spirit and practical ability. The new geog-raphy curriculum standard also proposed the concern on the de-velopment of students＇ practical and innovative abilities. Based on the junior geography subject, this paper intends to promote the development of students＇ practical and innovative abilities through effective teaching reforms, starting from the transformation of teaching ideas, the change of teaching styles and the enhance-ment of practice teaching.
