光复以来台湾佛教的“祖国化”历程

The Return-to-the-Motherland Course of Taiwan Buddhism since the Retrocession

日据时期的台湾佛教受到日本殖民者的控制,被迫接受"皇国一体"等日本佛教思想。光复以来,台湾佛教在大陆赴台僧侣的主导下,开启了"祖国化"的发展历程,其内容体现在恢复传统汉传佛教制度、建设人间佛教的种种努力上。"四大道场"兴起后,台湾人间佛教思潮又出现了与"中国化佛教"禅宗合流的现象。台湾佛教的"祖国化"发展历程延续至今,由此亦可见"台湾佛教主体性"一类说法的片面之处。

During the Japanese occupation, Taiwan Buddhism was ruled and controlled by the Japanese colonists and forced to accept the Japanese Buddhist thought. Led by the monks coming from China's Mainland, Taiwan Buddhism began its process of returning to China since its recovery, which was embodied in their efforts to restore the traditional Chinese Buddhism system and construct Humanistic Buddhism. With the rise of the four Bodhimandas, Taiwan Humanistic Buddhism trend of thought began to harmonized Zen in ＂Chinese Buddhism＂ , and the return-to-the-motherland process continues up to now, which can verify the one-sided statement of so called ＂the independence of Taiwan Buddhism＂.
