An Exploration of the Chronological Order of Qiu Chuji's Literary Activities on the Way to the West to Meet Genghis Khan

丘处机西觐成吉思汗,开启了蒙汉文化交流互渗的大幕。丘处机不仅将道教传播到了西域,更是将中国传统文人的文学活动带入了一个前所未有的广阔天地。他在往来西域途中,用诗词记录自己的所见所闻,既保存了珍贵的史料,也给道教文学带来了新的面貌。在河中府,他与耶律楚材、王君玉等人唱和诗歌,营造出传统的中原文坛向西延伸的"极点"。

： The prologue of cultural communications between Mongolian nationality and Han nationality had been opened from Qiu Chuji met with Genghis Khan. Qiu Chuji not only spread Taoism to western region, but also moved the literary activities of Chinese traditional literati forward to an unprecedented spacious world. On the way of visiting western region, he recorded what he saw and heard by poetry which contributed to preserve the precious historical materials and brought new features to the Taoist literature. At He Zhong city （Samarkand）, through singing poetry along with Yelv Chucai and Wang Junyu, Qiu Chuji buih a pole of extension from traditional central plains＂ literary world to western region.
