Periostin在肿瘤中的研究进展

Research progress of periostin in tumors

骨细胞特异性因子-2(Periostin)在多种肿瘤组织中过表达,与肿瘤发生、发展密切相关。上调Periostin,促进肿瘤细胞侵袭和转移;Periostin在多种病理条件下表现出促血管生成的活性;Periostin表达上调,进而通过激活Akt通路促进肿瘤细胞的适应生存能力。笔者简要综述Periostin在肿瘤增殖、侵袭及转移、血管形成及生存中的作用和调控机制。

Periostin, namely osteoblast specific factor-2, overexpresses in various tumor tissues, which is closely related to the occurrence and development of cancers. The up-regulated periostin could promote tumor invasion, metastasis and angiogenesis. Moreover, increased periostin expres sion contributes to tumor cell survival through activation of Akt pathway. The author reviews the role and regulation mechanism of periostin in tumor proliferation, invasion and metastasis, angiogenesis and survival.
