中华民族之所以始终以统一为大势,忠孝核心价值观是立了大功的,而且随着忠孝的不断深入人心,越到后期所发挥的作用就越大。明清两代,以忠孝为主要内容的核心价值观对于保持国家稳定、推进我国各民族的团结和社会发展发挥了十分重要的作用。这个作用的最重要表现之一就是,从宋代以后,我国就再也没有出现过长时间的分裂。可以说,坚持稳定的核心价值观,是先民们留给我们的一条比较成功的治国经验。

Loyalty and Filial piety as a core value played an important role in maintaining the general trend of the u- nity of the Chinese nation, and with which more deeply rooted among the people, the more important role it played latter. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, Loyalty and Filial piety as the main content of the core values played a very important role in maintaining national stability and promoting unity and social development of all ethnic groups. One of the most important manifestations of this effect is that, the country has never appeared long division from the Song Dynasty. We can say that a more successful experience that the ancestors left us in running the country is to adhere to the stable core values.
