摘要
随着礼貌研究的深入,传统礼貌观面临着一系列挑战。在回顾以Grice的合作原则为理论基础的传统礼貌观面临的问题基础上,拟以认知语用学中关联论为理论框架,介绍关联论对上述问题的解决途径。
This paper aims to justify a relevance-theory-oriented cognitive approach to politeness by starting from the investigation of some possible challenges faced by Gricean views on politeness. By further discussing the possibility of a cognitive approach to politeness, this paper proceeds to propose some suggestions offered by relevance theory on these challenges accordingly.
