The acquisition and setting method of flared skirt pattern were analyzed through the introduction of specifications setting, modeling features and style structure of the flared skirt. The important role of pattern in the garment design process was con firmed. The experiment converted the three-dimensional shape into a flat pattern, and it confirmed the feasibility of the structural design of flared skirt.
