With the worsening of energy situation,renewable energy including solar is increasingly concerned . This article introduces the general situation of utilization of solar energy and a new kind of solar thermal tech-nology---solar wall system.The paper illustrates the working principles and features of the solar wall sys-tem,with cases of factory building and general building respectively.In the last part,the paper analyses the economics and Promotion potential for replication of solar wall system.Solar Wall system has good economic returns,high thermal efficiency and good fresh air effect.By combining the rooftop photovoltaic system and solar wall,photovoltaic/solar thermal utilization can be achieved,and the utilization of solar energy is improved.
