我国竹资源培育与加工、利用、研发水平及生产能力处于世界领先地位,竹产业已成为我国发展潜力巨大的现代林业朝阳产业之一,是我国为数不多的在国际市场具有较强竞争优势的特色产业。同时,也是现代科学技术理念与中国国情和实际相结合,走出一条富有中国特色成功发展道路的一个重要例证。竹产业具有鲜明的生态、经济、文化属性,是现代生态文明建设的良好载体。它的健康发展,可以大力推进生态文明建设。我国竹产业经过30多年的发展,取得了巨大成就。在新的历史时期,面对着前所未有的良好发展机遇和巨大的挑战,要持续挖掘竹资源利用空间和价值空间,合理规划布局,优化产业结构,提高自主创新能力,加大科技成果转化,加强行业引导和政策扶持,实现竹产业可持续发展,为生态文明建设和建设美丽中国做出积极贡献。

Bamboo industry has become one of the modern forestry sunrise industries with great potential in China. It is one of the few characteristic industries with strong competitive advantages in the international market. Meanwhile, it is also an important example which shows a combination of the modern science and technology concept with China＇s real national conditions, and a successful development road with Chinese characteristics. Bamboo industry has a distinct ecological, economic and cultural property, and it is a good carrier of the modern ecological civilization construction. The healthy development of bamboo industry promotes the ecological civilization construction. After more than 30 years＇ development, China＇s bamboo industry has made great achievements. Facing the unprecedented good development opportunities and enormous challenges in the new historical period, we should continue to excavate the utilization and value space of bamboo resources, reasonably plan, optimize the industrial structure, improve the capability of independent innovation, increase the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and strengthen the guidance and policy support so as to achieve the sustainable development of bamboo industry, which will make positive contributions to the construction of ecological civilization and the beautiful China.
