诠释学与典籍翻译的契合及其应用研究

The Study of Hermeneutics and Its Application to Chinese Classics' Interlingual Translation

由于典籍文本历史久远、互文现象纷繁,理解中的"前见"复杂,因此典籍翻译要求多元的"对话"和多维的"视域融合"。从诠释学的角度来看,施莱尔马赫的"重构论"、狄尔泰的"移情体验观"、海德格尔的"事实性存在"等都有助于深化我们对理解的本质和诠释过程的认识,伽达默尔的"历史性理解"与典籍翻译的历史性更加契合,他的哲学诠释学核心观点"视域融合"可为典籍翻译过程中的对话、沟通和理解拓宽研究思路。本文阐述了诠释学与典籍文本研究的渊源与契合,对近10年来的相关研究应用进行了梳理,指出这一哲学理论对于典籍翻译研究的重要意义及发展空间。

Classical texts are more distant in time and complicated in inter-textuality,thus calling for a wider dialogue and a larger vision fusion in translation.In the perspective of hermeneutics,from Schleiermacher＇s ＂Reconstruction＂,Dilthey＇s ＂Empathy＂,up to Heidegger＇s ＂Facticity＂,all the theories have contributed to our understanding to the nature translation.However,Gadamer＇s ＂historicity of understanding＂ is better suited to the study of classics translation,especially so is his ＂Fusion of Horizons＂,which,being the core of Hermeneutics,can provide us with a more valid and reliable theoretical basis in the process of the dialogue,communication,and mutual understanding in translation.This paper gives an academic reviewing and brief analysis on the application of hermeneutics to the inter-lingual translation of classics by Chinese scholars in the last decade.A tentative conclusion is drawn that this philosophical theory renders a great significance and big potential to the study of classics translation.
