Muqi Town with Easy Access to Roads

总感觉现在对地名的改动有些粗率，既无出处，又无渊源，跟历史、地理更扯不上关系，譬如清王朝发祥地兴京，建国后叫做“新宾”；抚顺还有一条路。原本叫高尔山路，未知几何，竟简化成“高山”路，这一来，便令人一头雾水了。高尔山，指抚顺城北的一座山而言，那山很有人文背景，但一剪掉“尔”字，原初意义便彻头彻尾消失了。

People in this part of the world live an affluent life.Some live on farming and some others on doing business.Small buildings found here are complete with courtyards dotted with flowers and trees.The town is also home to a forest park,home lo ancient elm.pine and other ancient species.Ancient elm trees were planted during the period of Kmperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty(1644-1911).The emperor made four trips eastward via Muqi.When he made the last visit to the town,he was in his 80 s,staying there to look at Shenjing(present-day Shenyang) in the fast east.Qing Emperor Yongzheng visited Muqi together with his lather.He favored economic life and once tried to move away all imperial furniture from his residence.Unlike his grandfather Emperor Kangxi.Emperor Qianlong stayed in Muqi longer.His son Jiaqing followed the close-door policy,resulting in Qing’s failure in global competition.When Empeor Daoguang made his eastward inspection tour.Qing was dying.
