旴江医家为维护旴江流域的一方的疾病预防、健康维护作出了不可磨灭的贡献，留下了丰富的养生理论、养生方法和养生经验。他们身体力行，寿达70～79岁64人，80～89岁37人，90岁以上者8人，尤其是龚廷贤知行合一，享寿97，为后人养生树立了典范。

The doctors in Xujiang River , have made the indelible contribution to the prevention of disease and the health maintenance in the river basin of Xujiang , and remained abundant theory , method and experience of health maintenance .They experienced them-selves, 64 of whom reached 70~79 years old, 37 of whom reached 80~89 years old, 8 of whom reached over 90 years old.Especially Gong Tingxian made the model for us because he practiced the maintenance theory himself to enjoy the long life of 97 yeas old.
