摘要
In this paper,the effects of workpiece of the side-wall on the results of ultrasonic inspection were theoretically analyzed.In order to effectively avoid erroneous judgment and missing detection on workpiece flaws,a new inspection process in which an additional ultrasonic transversal wave was imposed to flaws neighboring the workpiece side-wall was proposed.The process has been successfully applied in practice and accordingly the quality of the forgings can be guaranteed.
