The heat never leaves Hong Kong, but what about desire？
This city-highly urbanized, dense, and intense, one might say a perfect product of postmodernism-has long been in search of its place in historical, social, cultural, and racial discourses. Its citizens, caught within a complex web of identities wrought by the forces of capital and power, yearn for release-perhaps at the expense of lust.
