早期:王兴伟、王音、张恩利、赵刚、周铁海

名为“早期”的展览,截取了一段特定时期的艺术风格和现象进行重新观看,以三十岁左右为界,将赵刚、王音、张恩利、周铁海和王兴伟在而立之前的艺术实践划分为他们的早期阶段,作为讨论他们现在的创作实践的历史前见。

＂Early＂ takes a look back at the artistic styles and phenome- na of a specific period in time, classifying the work of Zhao Gang, Wang Yin, Zhang Enli, Zhou Tiehai and Wang Xingwei when each was around 30 years of age as their early period so as to frame a discussion of the historical precedents to their current practice. Twenty-four artworks are shown, all produced between 1989 and 1999, plus a small sketch by Wang Xingwei. The five artists were all born between 1961 and 1969.
