汉语时空象似造词初探

A Preliminary Study on Chinese Time and Space Iconicity in Word-formation

汉语造词法研究大多集中于语音、语位(句法)及修辞造词等方面,少有人专门探讨时间、空间象似造词问题。时空象似造词是基于人类思维的"象似性"而生发出的一种重要且有趣味的词汇现象。探讨时空象似造词的目的,不仅是旨在分析汉语语词产生的动因与机制,而且是为了深入了解语词的内部形式,发掘命名的"意义支点",并在构词语素与词义之间寻觅其隐藏在深层结构中的某种联系。

Current researches on Chinese word-making mostly concentrate on word-formation in terms of phonetics,grammeme （syntax） and rhetoric, etc. whereas few people exclusively address time and space iconicity in the Chinese language＇s word-formation. However, time and space iconicity in word-formation is an important and interesting lexical phenomenon based on the iconicity of human thinking. The research purpose of time and space ieonicity inword-formation is not only to analyze the generating causes and mechanism of Chinese words and phrases, but alsoto understand the internal form of them deeply, to better dig out ＂the pivot of meaning＂ in naming, and to seek therelationship hidden deep in structure between the word-formative morphemes and word meaning.
