国俗语义学作为语言研究的一个分支。在语言交际过程中,对于词的国俗语义的正确理解可以有助于人们更好地掌握语言的文化内涵,从而达到交际目的。文章从国俗语义这一角度对"石榴"这个词的词义进行探析,主要是从历代文学作品和民俗中看石榴在我国文化中代表的意义。

One could grasp the cultural connotation more accurately with a thorough understanding of the national cultural connotations of a word, hence accomplish a better communication. This essay is trying to analyses the meaning of pomegranate from the perspective of national culture connotations, and mainly aimed at researching the meaning of pomegranate in Chinese culture from the literary works and folk custom of past ages.
