Through the actual project, describes the design of ventilation and smoke exhaust for the basement of a high rise building, involving zoning of the systems, calculating of the air volume, etc. Also describes the design of ventilation for civil air defence works in the basement changing into shelters and material stores, including three ventilation modes, the transition way, and design of air supply and exhaust systems.
