With the research methods of literature study, video observation and statistics, the paper makes statistic analysis of the performances of ZHU Shi--he and CHEN Wei-- xing, two world class table tennis athletes good at chop and compares their serving skill, chop attack skill and confrontation skill. The paper also predicts the future development of chop skill and provides suggestions for the improvement o{ their skills and tactics.
